New Features & Security Enhancements

The Communicator: Volume 5, Issue 12, December 2024

Dear PDIS Users,
We are pleased to announce an update to PDIS, now featuring the latest technologies and important software updates to boost security and address known vulnerabilities. For the best experience with this new version, we recommend clearing your browser’s cache before accessing PDIS, so the latest updates load without issues. Additionally, please check that your saved bookmark points to https://pdis.org for accurate access. If you have an existing bookmark, update it manually rather than using the browser shortcut, so it directs you to https://pdis.org. For reference on updating manually, see the screenshots below.

Key Updates in This Version:

1. File Size Limit: All image uploads, whether attached to reports or added through the Images task from the Sample Dashboard, will now be limited to 5 MB per image.
2. Attachment Limit: All image uploads, whether attached to reports or added through the Images task from the Sample Dashboard will be restricted to a total of 4 files, this includes images and other file attachments.
3. Automatic File Optimization: PDIS will automatically attempt to reduce image storage size if the file exceeds 1 MB.
4. Interface Update: A subtle refresh to the interface design is included. While the appearance may look slightly different, all existing functionalities remain unchanged.
