Oregon State University Lead Plant Disease Diagnostician (Assistant Professor of Practice)

The Department of Botany and Plant Pathology is seeking candidates for the lead Plant Diagnostician in the Oregon State University (OSU) Plant Clinic. This is a 12-month, 1.0 FTE, College of Agricultural Sciences, Assistant Professor of Practice in Botany and Plant Pathology. The duties associated with this position are to provide plant disease diagnostic educational information statewide for all crops using appropriate diagnostic technologies.

UGA Plant Disease Diagnostician (Public Service Assistant)

The Department of Plant Pathology at the University of Georgia (UGA) seeks to hire a Plant Disease Diagnostician to operate the Plant Disease Clinic at the UGA Tifton Campus. This is a fiscal-year (12-month), 95% Extension/5% service position at the rank of Public Service Assistant (non-tenure track faculty position).

Accreditation Project Administrator - National Plant Diagnostic Network

The National Plant Diagnostic Network has created a lab accreditation program with the goal to accredit all member labs over the next 5 years. This part-time(50%) position will provide the leadership, support, and oversight needed to meet that goal.

We are looking for two enthusiastic individuals to join the Diagnostic Lab (within the Bartlett Tree Research Laboratory in Charlotte, NC) for six months (approx. May-October 2023).

REPORTS TO: Diagnostic Lab staff

PAY: $18/hr, 40 hrs/wk
